Eternal Embrace is a small artwork shaped in clay and burned using the raku technique. The sculpture depicts a child hugging their mother’s grave, while the shadow reveals the mother standing behind the child. The piece symbolizes the unfathomable suffering endured by children in war. It reflects the loss of a parent’s presence and security, a reality faced by many children in the wake of conflict. The artwork highlights the tragic senselessness of this suffering.
