An exciting and eventful autumn lies ahead. I am currently working on an inspiring commissioned shadow sculpture. In September, I will exhibit in Croatia during the Visualia Festival of Light in Pula, from September 19th to 21st. In October, I will travel to Japan to create an on-site dual shadow sculpture using plastic debris collected from the shores of Tanegashima Island. Early next year, I will participate in a light art festival in Leeuwarden, and I’ll be preparing for a solo exhibition at Kymenlaakso Museum opening in May at Maritime Centre Vellamo in Kotka.

Today I had the honor of giving a speech and taking part in presenting awards to distinguished employees of the City of Pietarsaari. A total of 89 prints from the series ‘Tuulahdus muistoista’ / ‘Vindpust från minnet’ were given as prizes. The artwork had been kept secret throughout the autumn, and today I had the privilege of unveiling it.
